Fulya Guney&Ozhan Leylek

 Fulya Güney ,having her training based on classical ballet and jazz dance is the art director and choreographer of Danset Dance Company.She made choreographies for the well known Musicals like:'Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyası','Toros Canavarı','Broadway'den İstanbul'a Müzikaller' and 'Folklorika'

She travelled several times to India , China, Yugoslavia, Italy and Azerbaijan with some of her choreographies and worked as a choreographer in many 'Culture Exchange' projects via Contemporary Dance .She travelled to Germany as a part of her 'Management in Performing Arts' education.There, she also worked on Contemporary Dance and Contact Emprovisation.

Always willing to work with other disciplines of dance she began working on Argentine Tango with Çetin Cengiz and immediately fell in love with the emprovisational form of the dance.While working on 'contact emprovisation 'she realized that tango itself was based on the contact emprovising of two bodies almost in a meditative way.Meeting Özhan Leylek was a great chance, since Özhan was also a modern dance based Tango teacher and immediately they began working together.Fulya copleted her Master Degree in ' Management of Performing Arts'in 2009

Özhan Leylek began dancing in very early ages since his uncle was a famous dancer .First he began folk-dancing and later had modern dance training and studied 'Management of Performing Arts'.In 1996 he began Tango dancing and Tango became his life.He took part in festivals held in Italy, Portugal, Germany and France.Travelling to Buenos Aires and joining several times the 'World Tango Festival' he was chosen to be one of the Festival Represantatives worldwide .Still he joines the festival every year with his students all around Turkey. He is one of the first and youngest tango teachers in Turkey.

The couple took place as dancers and choreographers in many projects for both Television and Tango Organisations. In 2008 they became the founders of Danset Performing Arts Asssociation which aims to organize shows,workshops and festivals in order to communicate other cultures through performing arts.

Fulya&Ozhan are running their own dance school in Istanbul and teaching in several well known universities in Turkey .They are working effectively to make people realise the concept of TANGO.Their students are not figure working , imitating dancers but are capable of feeling the music and evolving the movements themselves.
